Russia Tour Day 1 – Arrive in Moscow
Arrive in Moscow and meet the driver at the arrival hall, then transfer to the hotel and check-in. Overnight in Moscow.
Russia Tour Day 2 – Moscow
Have breakfast at the hotel and then meet your guide. On the 2nd day of your Moscow and St. Petersburg tour, visit the following:
- Kremlin Territory Entrance
- GUM Store
- Red Square & St. Basil’s Cathedral Photostop
- Lenin Museum
- Visit of Zaryadye Park with Hanging Bridge – a landscape urban park located adjacent to the Red Square. Included in Time Magazine’s list of the world’s greatest places in 2018.
Go back to the hotel and overnight in Moscow.
Russia Tour Day 3 – Moscow
City Sightseeing in Moscow
This is a half-day orientation tour that will take you around the city and cover Moscow’s landmarks (all monuments from outside): Red Square, the Cathedrals of St. Basil and Our Lady of Kazan, the biggest History Museum of Russia, the Trading Arcades of GUM, Lenin’s tomb, St. Sofia’s Embankment, The Cathedral of Christ the Savior, New Maiden Convent, Moscow State University campus, a panorama platform on Vorobiovy (Sparrow) Hills, The White House of the Russian Federation etc. Visit Sparrow Hills
Victory Park
Victory Park is a memorial complex dedicated to Russia’s victory over Nazi Germany. It is located in the historic area of Moscow known as Poklonnaya Hill, which means “Bow Hill”. It’s one of the highest spots in Moscow – in old times, travelers approaching the capital from the west used to climb onto the hill to get a beautiful panoramic view of the city, and would bow to Moscow.

Enjoy a breathtaking flight over the Moskva River! A new centre of gravity on Vorobyoby Hills, Moscow’s first cable car spans the two banks of the Moskva River. It is difficult to imagine another place in Moscow where a cable car would fit in as organically or be as much in demand as here.

Russia Tour Day 4 – Moscow to St. Petersburg
On the 4th day of your Moscow and St. Petersburg tour, transfers in both cities will be available in coach. Have breakfast at the hotel then meet with your guide, and transfer to the train station. Take the Sapsan High Speed Train for a connection between Moscow and St. Petersburg, then transfer to the hotel at St. Petersburg and check-in. Overnight in St. Petersburg.
Russia Tour Day 5 – St. Petersburg
Your tour of St. Petersburg, Russia starts proper on day 5 of your Russia vacation package. Have breakfast at the hotel then meet with your guide. Then start St. Petersburg tours.
Sightseeing Tour of Saint Petersburg
Proceed to the City Tour with PHOTOSTOPS – This is an orientation tour that will take you around the city and to the famous stops and buildings of St. Petersburg. The city tour will cover the main monuments located in the heart of the city: Bronze Horseman, Peter and Paul’s fortress, Blood of the Savior Cathedral and the majestic Isaac Cathedral, Palace Bridge, Hermitage Museum, Kazan Cathedral etc.
Nevsky Prospect – we travel to the splendid Vasilievsky Island – the old port, the university area, the Theatre Square, we enter to the Church of St. Nicholas, district of Fyodor Dostoevsky, Saint Isaak’s Square and St. Isaac’s Cathedral with its huge columns of red granite, you will see the Battleship Aurora – from the old Imperial Navy, whose cannon on October 25, 1917 marked the beginning of the Russian Revolution.
Visit the Peter and Paul Fortress Territory – In 1998 in a chapel of the Cathedral was buried the remains of the last Russian Emperor, Nicholas II, and his family.
Visit to the Kazan Cathedral – Kazan Cathedral is a cathedral of the Russian Orthodox Church; it is dedicated to Our Lady of Kazan, one of the most venerated icons in Russia.
Visit Church on Spilled Blood – Built to memorialize Alexander II following his assassination in 1881, this magnificent church with Italian pink marble floors and numerous mosaics was modeled after 16th and 17th century churches, contrasting sharply with the prevailing architectural styles.
Walk on the Palace Square and Nevsky Prospect – Visit one of the most beautiful places in Saint Petersburg – Palace Square – the so-called point zero, which symbolizes the very starting point of the city. Right from Palace Square starts the central street of Saint Petersburg – Nevsky Prospect.
Overnight in St. Petersburg

Have breakfast at the hotel, then transfer to the airport. End of tour.

Recognized as a national treasture, St. Isaac’s Cathedral was not listed in the lists of church architecture buildings that were subject to demolition. The birthday of the museum is considered to be April 12, 1931. On this day, or rather on the night of April 11-12, the State Anti-Religious Museum was opened in St. Isaac’s Cathedral with a solemn demonstration of Foucault’s experience. This date was an important milestone not only in the history of the museum, but also in the history of the cathedral itself as an outstanding architectural monument.
