Day 1 - Welcome to Oslo, Norway

Welcome to Oslo. On arrival, proceed to the hotel and check-in on your own (check-in time is after 3:00 PM). Spend some free time on your own.

Note: The standard check-in time is 1500 hrs. Packed dinner will be provided in case of late arrivals of flight or long queue at the immigration.

Day 2 - Orientation tour of Oslo - Fly to Tromso, Norway

Proceed to an orientation tour of Oslo, see Parliament Square, National Galleries, Karl Johan shopping street, Royal Palace and Akershus Fortress. Then visit Holmenkollen Ski Jump. Later on, we will drive to the airport for your flight to Tromso. On arrival, proceed to the hotel and check-in (check-in time is after 3:00 PM). Later, ride the cable car to Fjellheisen located 421m above sea level. The views of the surrounding islands & fjords from the upper station are spectacular.

Day 3 - Tromso, Norway

Proceed to an orientation tour of Tromso. Take the Fjellheisen cable car ride to Tromsdalen and enjoy the spectacular panoramic views of Tromso and the surrounding islands, mountains and fjords. We visit Polaria - an Arctic experience and the perfect place to meet and understand life in the Arctic. Next, visit the Polar Museum, where you will discover exciting stories of risky Arctic trapping and sea mammal hunting as well as courageous Polar explorers. Later in the evening, proceed on a guided Northern Lights tour. Tromso is famous for being one of the best places in the world to see the Northern lights.

Day 4 - Narvik, Norway

Check-out of the hotel and proceed to Narvik. Surrounded by high mountains and deep fjords in the middle of Northern Norway, here you can enjoy spectacular views of fjords and mountains in a wild, dramatic and uninhabited landscape. On arrival, explore the Narvik War Museum which tells the stories of war. First and foremost, of Nazi Germany’s attack on Narvik and Norway in April 1940 and the following five years of occupation, but also universal questions about war and its consequences are raised. Using innovative designs, photography, film, sound, and technology, Narvik War Museum has exhibitions that involve and interest all ages.

Day 5 - Kiruna, Sweden

Check out of the hotel and proceed to Jukkasjärvi and visit the IceHotel Jukkasjärvi. Enjoy a sumptuous lunch at the Ice Hotel. Next, we proceed on a guided tour of the Open-Air Museum at Nutti Sámi Siida. The guide will take you on a tour through the Sámi camp on Jukkasjärvi’s old marketplace, talk about the indigenous Sámi culture and show the different Goahti dwellings, storage buildings and Sámi garments. The guide welcomes the party into the tent. Sámi coffee break is served in a big, heated tent that is nicely done up with Sámi patterns, colors and reindeer antler decorations. Guests are treated on reindeer hide covered benches at laid long tables in a candlelit atmosphere and around the crackling fireplace that spreads warmth. Sámi music is played in the background and frames the atmospheric coffee break experience. Later, proceed to Kiruna.

Day 6 - Rovaniemi, Finland

Check out of the hotel and proceed to Rovaniemi. Located in Finnish Lapland - this magical place is also the home of Santa Claus. On arrival, visit the most awaited place - Santa Claus Village. Santa Claus spends his time at the Santa Claus Village every day of the year to take care of his mission in life of spreading joy and happiness. Walk across the Arctic Circle and feel the thrill of a lifetime.

Day 7 - Rovaniemi, Finland

Today, get set for an action packed day. Take a short drive from the town and arrive at a husky dog farm. Before departing on the safari, you will be given instructions on how to control the sledge, which you will ride in pairs and chat with the head musher about these amazing northern animals. After a thrilling ride in this magical landscape, visit a  local reindeer farm and meet the people living at the farm who train these safari reindeer. Next, visit Ranua Wildlife Park. Observe arctic animals, throughout the year, in an authentic environment for the animals. At the Ranua Wildlife Park you can see polar bears, as well as 50 different other arctic animal species in the midst of northern woods.

Day 8 - Helsinki, Finland

Drive to the airport to take the flight back to Helsinki. Proceed to a guided city tour of Helsinki. See the important parts of Helsinki - the Presidential Palace, the Lutheran Church, Senate Square, Opera House and the Sibelius Monument. Next, visit the Helsinki Cathedral. Also visit the Temppeliaukio - Rock Church, one of Helsinki’s most popular tourist attractions which is quarried out of the natural bedrock.

Day 9 - Return back home with pleasant memories

Check out and drive to the airport on your own for your flight back home. It’s time to say goodbye to all the new friends you have made. We hope you take back many happy memories of your holiday.   • Any increase in the rate of exchange leading to an increase in all land arrangements which may come into effect prior to departure.
  • Tipping is expected from anyone providing you service, e.g. Coach Driver, Local Guides, etc. It is mandatory to tip a nominal amount of 3 euros per person/per day. For the entire duration of this tour which is 9 days, the total tips amount is 27 euros per person to be paid to the Tour Manager on day 1 of the tour.
