Georgia Eid Package Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival

At 16:40 hrs, land at Tbilisi International Airport, clear immigration and customs, collect your baggage, and then meet with the tour representatives in the arrivals hall and transfer to your hotel. At the hotel you will be assisted with your check-in (14:00 to 15:00 hrs). You will have free time to freshen up. Overnight at Tbilisi.

Day 2 – Tour to Kakheti Region

Have breakfast at your hotel, and soon afterwards you will start your tour of Georgia. At about 10AM, we will drive to the Kakheti Region, also known as the “Cradle of Wine” because of its history and technology of winemaking and unique varieties of grapes. We will visit the “City of Love” – Sighnaghi – a beautiful town situated on top of a hill, surrounded by valleys and the huge Caucasus Mountains. Visit the nunnery of Bodhe as well as the KTW Winery where you will be able to indulge in wine tasting. Return to Tbilisi, where we will have the cable car ride to Mtatsminda Park – the highest point of the city and a perfect viewpoint.

Day 3 – Tour of Gudauri and Kazbegi

Have breakfast at your hotel and at about 10AM, start the tour of Mtskheta – Tianeti Region. Visit Ananuri Complex and Jinvali Dam, then continue driving to Gudauri and stop the Monument, which is a good spot for photoshoots. If weather conditions permit, we will drive to Kazbegi and change the transport to a 4x4 vehicle there and ride up to Gergeti Trinity. Otherwise, you have free time in Gudauri to enjoy the snow activities. Check-in to the hotel in Gudauri and overnight in Gudauri.

Day 4 – Two Capitals – Tbilisi and Mtskheta

Breakfast at the hotel, then at about 10AM you will check out from the hotel in Gudauri and drive to Mtskheta, which is the ancient capital of Georgia and one of the most important spiritual and cultural centers of the country. There you will visit Jvari Monastery and Svetitkhoveli Cathedral. Then, we will visit the Chronicle of Georgia in Tbilisi and survey the surroundings. Later, we will drive to Old Tbilisi and start the walking tour to discover the beauty of the ancient capital. The walking tour starts at the Europe Square and includes: Metehki Church, Cable Car to the Narikala fortress (ride up by cable car), “Mother of Kartli”, walking down to Abano District. There you will have free time to take photos. Overnight in Tbilisi.

Day 5 – Departure

The 5^th day concludes your travel package to Georgia. Have breakfast at the hotel, and then check out. At 9AM, transfer to Tbilisi International Airport (3 to 3.5 hrs prior to departure flight. Flight at 12:10 PM.
