Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival in Muscat – Transfer to Hotel

You will arrive at the Muscat International Airport. Upon arrival you will be met by our friendly & efficient chauffeur who will assist you to the comforts of our vehicle to drive you to your hotel. Overnight stay at 5* Hotel in Muscat.

Day 2 – Muscat City Tour – Grand Mosque – Royal Opera House – Muttrah (Souq & Corniche) – National Museum or Bait Al Zubair

After having breakfast at the hotel, you can start city tour. Your city tour begins with a visit to the beautiful Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the Middle East, the only mosque open to non-Muslims and expatriates in Oman. After you will visit to the Muttrah Corniche and Muttrah Souq (the market) where you will have photo stop with the big cruises by the corniche and the market where you can get to know the traditional handicrafts, Omani daggers and many antiques. Now it is time for a lunch, and you can have it as per your taste and interest as many restaurants are available in the Muscat city. Then you will be taken to visit the Al Zubair Museum gives you the knowledge about tradition, Culture and heritage of Oman. You will then have a photo stop at the official residence of his Majesty the Al Alam Palace, which is flanked by the 16^th century Portuguese forts of Mirani and Jalali. Now you have covered almost every visit able place so it’s time to get back and have a sleep to recall the day and dream for more to come. You will be dropped to the Hotel. Day 3 – Muscat – Barka – Nakhal Fort (Photo Stop) – Ain Al Tawarah Hot Springs – Bait Al Ghasham

After having breakfast, we will start our Journey towards Barka on the coastline from Muscat, Barka is famous for the selling of fresh fish, and it allows you to experience of sell and purchase of items in Omani styles. Moving on will be the village Nakhal which is surrounded by the Palm tree villages, the freshness in the air and the aroma of green life will be an energetic morning for you. A photo stop at Nakhal Fort is a must point to capture the architectural abilities of ancient times. After you will visit the Hot springs also called Ain Al Tawarah, the concept is to have a dip in the hot waters which is available around the year. Your last destination of the day will Bait Al Ghasham, this was the house of the late Sultan bin Sayed Al Ghasham Al Busaidi, He was a known personality in Oman and have been the governor(wali) in 1790s and after him the house was ruled by many Busaidi family people before this house was sold and converted into a museum. This means that this house cum museum is a 200+ old property and every single household, cutleries, furnitures are preserved from that time. After this beautiful day experience you will be back to Muscat for overnight stay! Overnight stay at 5* Hotel in Muscat.

Day 4 – Muscat – Bimmah Sink Hole – Wadi Shab (Hiking & Swimming Sight) – Ras al Hadd

Pick up 9.00 a.m. You will depart from Muscat to travel south towards the Quriyat Region. After travelling just a few kilometers you will find yourselves absorbed in an almost lunar world where unreal mountains dominate the view. You will continue to the mountainous landscape arriving at the dramatic Bimmah Sinkhole. Once you are refreshed you will continue travelling and arrive at Wadi Shab (Wadi meaning valley between cliffs). Upon arrival at Wadi Shab, you will transfer to a small fishing boat to be taken across the wadi to enable you to start your journey. The word breathtaking hardly does its justice. You will walk through the amazing canyon, until you arrive at the wadi which leads to the Keyhole. Here you can relax; take a dip in the pools. You will have the opportunity to swim through a pool of crystal-clear water and dive through a narrow keyhole, inside you will find a magnificent cave, complete with an incredible waterfall. Our next stop for lunch at a restaurant to try the local cuisine. Post you will drive back to Muscat. Overnight stay at 5* Hotel in Muscat.

Day 5 – Wadi Bani Khalid (Swimming & Walking) – Wahiba Desert – Dune Bashing – Sunset from Dunes – Overnight in Desert

After breakfast at the hotel, you will depart on an exciting 4wd journey through the mountains. Your first stop will be Wadi Bani Khalid, one of Oman’s most beautiful wadis. The wadi has clear deep blue water and counts among the few wadis of Oman that hold water all year round. Then we will travel to Wahiba Sands which is famous for its multicolored sand which varies from black to honey-golden and even to white. In the heart of the golden sands of Sharqiyah Desert nestled amongst stunning and ever-changing patterns of dunes, is the Desert Resort. The camp offers a luxurious atmosphere air-conditioned accommodation and a variety of complimentary toiletries. The location of the camp in the wilderness of the desert, emphasizes the beauty of the golden sand dunes surrounding it. You will be made to feel welcome with warmth and kindness of the Omani Hospitality. After an adrenaline fueled 4WD safari across 150-metre dunes and with a spectacular view of the sunset, you will be ready to experience the delicious Arabic Cuisine, splendor and live entertainment the camp has to offer. Whilst you sit around a campfire under the starry sky, you will be able to look back over your day and appreciate the once in a lifetime experience. Day 6 – Free Time in Desert Camp for Activities – Bedouin House Visit (as per availability) – Birkat al Mauz – Jebel Akhdar Mountain Tour with Wadi Bani Habib

You can have free time at the desert camp to enjoy the camel rides offered by the desert camp, after then you will depart on an exciting 4wd journey through the desert and visit the local Bedouin house and have Omani Coffee. Bedouin people are those who lived their entire life in desert, they are also called desert people and have a rich cultural value as well, you will enjoy their traditional ways of hospitality. Next you will move ahead for Jebel Akhdar mountains also known as Green Mountain. On the way, we will stop by at Birkat Al Mauz and have an opportunity to walk in the middle of palm plantation at the foot of Green Mountain. your next visit the Post this, we will start ascending journey to Jebel Akhdar Mountains. This mountain offers discovery and adventure. We will experience and witness nature’s primordial beauty seen in the soaring peeks and plunging canyon along with the rise of terraces on extremely steep mountain slopes. There is a trek that goes from one village to another through the terraces and along the falaj system. There is a splendid view of the hanging terraces. Post your night stay will be in the mountains. Day 7 – Historical Tour to Nizwa Fort – Nizwa Souq – Small Walking Tour of Al Aqur (Behind Nizwa Souq) – Back to Muscat

After breakfast and check-out from hotel, you can enjoy the early morning sunrise from green mountains. We will start our journey to cultural capital Nizwa. Your first stop will be at the spectacular Nizwa Fort with its massive Circular Cannon Tower, one of the most impressive forts in Oman. You will also visit the Nizwa traditional Souq. The Souq is a lively place and an ideal location to purchase handicrafts and souvenirs. You will be having a small walking tour to Al Aqur which is a heritage sight, and you will enjoy the history of battlefields in 16th century from this village. You will travel back to Muscat. Overnight stay in 5* Hotel Muscat.

Day 8 – Airport Drop and Departure

After amazing day’s tour it’s time for departure. Our guide will drop you at Muscat international airport for departure.
