Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival in Muscat – Transfer to Hotel

You will arrive at the Muscat International Airport. Upon arrival you will be met by our friendly & efficient chauffeur who will assist you to the comforts of our vehicle to drive you to your hotel. Overnight stay at 4* Hotel.

Day 2 – Half Day Muscat City Tour with Visit to Grand Mosque – Al Zubair Museum – Muttrah Corniche & Souq – Photo Stop at Al Alam Palace & Jilali Mirani Forts

Pick up at 08:30 AM. You will depart from hotel & you will be met by our guide and the city tour begins with a visit Grand Mosque Muscat. Next you will visit picturesque Muttrah Corniche and visit Muttrah Souq which retains the chaotic interest of a traditional Arab market albeit housed under modern timber roofing. You will stroll through the Souq, where you will have the chance to buy Omani specialties like Frankincense, Omani daggers. You will also be able to enjoy a moment along the corniche admiring the various cruise ships on the water at Mina Al Sultan Qaboos Port. You will then visit Bait Al Zubair Museum. The Museum tour will provide you with a wealth of information about the country’s structure, tradition and heritage. Then it will be time to have a photo stop at the official residence of his Majesty Sultan Qaboos Bin Said, The Al Alam Palace, which is flanked by the 16th century Portuguese forts of Mirani and Jalali. From the Palace, you will travel through the old town, here you will pass some of the original houses. Overnight stay at 4* Hotel in Muscat.

Day 3 – Muscat – Bimmah Sinkhole – Wadi Shab (Hiking & Swimming) – Ras al Hadd – Turtle Watching by Night – Stay in Ras al Hadd

Pick up at 9:00 AM. You will depart from Muscat to travel south towards the Quriyat Region. After travelling just a few kilometers you will find yourselves absorbed in an almost lunar world where unreal mountains dominate the view. You will continue to the mountainous landscape arriving at the dramatic Bimmah Sinkhole. Once you are refreshed you will continue travelling and arrive at Wadi Shab (Wadi meaning valley between cliffs). Upon arrival at Wadi Shab, you will transfer to a small fishing boat to be taken across the wadi to enable you to start your journey. The word breathtaking hardly does its justice. You will walk through the amazing canyon, until you arrive at the wadi which leads to the Keyhole. Here you can relax; take a dip in the pools. You will have the opportunity to swim through a pool of crystal-clear water and dive through a narrow keyhole, inside you will find a magnificent cave, complete with an incredible waterfall. Our next stop for lunch at a restaurant to try the local cuisine Post will travel to the traditional city of 'Sur' and check in hotel. You will have time to relax at the hotel. Dinner will be served at 7:30 before a drive to Ras Al Jinz to see the turtles at around 9:00 pm. whilst we are very successful in sighting turtles, there is no guarantees as it is a natural phenomenon. You will finish the tour at 11:00pm and travel back to the resort for an overnight. Overnight in Turtle Beach Resort.

Day 4 – Sur – Sur Dhow factory – Wadi Bani Khalid (Swimming & Walking) – Wahiba Desert – Dune Bashing – Sunset from Dunes

After breakfast at the hotel, you will depart on an exciting 4wd journey through the mountains. Your first stop will be Wadi Bani Khalid, one of Oman’s most beautiful wadis. The wadi has clear deep blue water and counts among the few wadis of Oman that hold water all year round. From the mountain springs, the water is led to the oasis where it sustains the typical date palms. Post lunch you will travel to Wahiba Sands which is famous for its multicolored sand which varies from black to honey-golden and even to white. In the heart of the golden sands of Sharqiyah Desert nestled amongst stunning and ever-changing patterns of dunes, is the Desert night Camp. The location of the camp in the wilderness of the desert, emphasizes the beauty of the golden sand dunes surrounding it. You will be made to feel welcome with warmth and kindness of the Omani Hospitality. After an adrenaline fueled 4WD safari across 150-metre dunes and with a spectacular view of the sunset, you will be ready to experience the delicious Arabic Cuisine, splendor and live entertainment the camp has to offer. Whilst you sit around a campfire under the starry sky, you will be able to look back over your day and appreciate the once in a lifetime experience. Overnight at Thousand Night Camp.

Day 5 – Birkat al Mauz – Jebel Akhdar Mountain – Stay at Jebel Akhdar

After an early breakfast at the desert camp, you will depart on an exciting 4WD journey through the desert and visit the local Bedouin house and have Omani Coffee. You will enjoy their traditional ways of hospitality. Next you will also we will depart for Jebel Akhdar also known as Green Mountain. On the way, we will stop by at Birkat Al Mauz and have an opportunity to walk in the middle of palm plantation at the foot of Green Mountain. Your next visit the Post this, we will start ascending journey to Jebel Akhdar Mountains. This mountain offers discovery and adventure. We will experience and witness nature’s primordial beauty seen in the soaring peeks and plunging canyon along with the rise of terraces on extremely steep mountain slopes. There is a trek that goes from one village to another through the terraces and along the falaj system. There is a splendid view of the hanging terraces. Post this you will travel to your hotel in Jebal Akhdar. Overnight stay in DusitD2 Naseem Hotel.

Day 6 – Nizwa Fort – Nizwa Souq – Visit Jabreen Castle – Stay in Nizwa

Pick up at 8:30 a.m. Morning visit the powerful Nizwa Fort with its massive Circular Cannon Tower, one of the most impressive forts in Oman and the traditional Souq, one of the oldest small towns of Oman and in the 12th century the capital of the tribe living in the region. Moving ahead you will visit the traditional Nizwa Souq (the market) where you will have a chance to purchase the best hand made products by the locals, the vintage vibe of this Souq will be something which you experience rarely. After Nizwa activities you will visit the Jabreen castle which is famous for the use of medicinal & Islamic Law studies in the 16^th century when the revolution was started in Oman. You will be dropped at the hotel in Nizwa. Overnight stay in Al Aqur View Inn.

Day 7 – Nizwa – Misfar Al Arbaeen – Al Hamra Mud House Village – Back to Muscat

Pick up 8.30 a.m. You will depart your hotel and proceed towards, drive to Al Hamra to see one of the oldest villages of this region. The traditional mud houses dated back from 400 years are still occupied. Post you will continue through the untamed and rugged countryside. Post we will visit Al Hamra which is known for portraying the aged history, cultivation and lifestyle of Oman. After an impressive cultural day, it will time to travel start heading towards Muscat. Post tour we will drop you at the Hotel. Overnight stay at 4* Hotel in Muscat.

Day 8 – Free Day to Relax in Muscat

Overnight stay at 4* hotel in Muscat.

Day 9 – Dimaniyat Island Snorkeling Tour

You will be picked up from the hotel and transferred to Aj Mouj Muscat (port) where you will board the speedboat. You will leave west to the island of Dimaniyat). After reaching Dimaniyat Island, the captain will anchor the boat, and travelers will disembark directly into the pristine, clear water with snorkeling equipment. After experiencing and spending time in 2 of the locations with some of the amazing sea creatures and coral reefs, it would be time to head back to Muscat. Soft drinks and water will be served on board houses. Overnight stay at 4* Hotel in Muscat.

Day 10 – Airport Drop and Departure

Check out from hotel and transfer to Muscat International Airport for Departure.
