Itinerary

DAY 1: SOUTH LUANGWA NATIONAL PARK

Upon your arrival at Lusaka International Airport you will be greeted by our representative that will guide you to your scheduled charter flight for South Luangwa National Park.

Upon arrival at South Luangwa National Park your driver will welcome you at the airport and take you to your accommodation. Once there you may choose if you want to stay in your room and prepare for the rest of the trip, or if you want to start your Zambia adventure and immediately go on a game drive.

DAY 2 & 3: SOUTH LUANGWA NATIONAL PARK

Bordering the Luangwa River, the northern and southern Luangwa National Parks contain some of the most breathtaking and untouched wilderness in Africa. As a result of this and the parks’ successful anti-poaching campaigns, the area has developed into a world-renowned wildlife haven.

The South Luangwa National Park is renowned for its walking safari, which allows visitors to view elephant, hippo and even lion close-up under the supervision of professional and knowledgeable armed guides.

In case you don’t feel comfortable with a walking safari you will be taken on a game drive in 4x4 safari vehicles.

DAY 4: LOWER ZAMBEZI NATIONAL PARK

Following your breakfast and check out, you will take your scheduled charter flight to Jeki Airstrip to continue your exploration of Zambia in Lower Zambezi National Park.

The Lower Zambezi is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and has some of the best wildlife sightings in the world. Famous for its leopard population and elephant herds, this amazing destination is best experienced on foot with one of African Bush Camps’ experienced guides. Walking through the towering acacia forests, searching for Africa’s famous wildlife is simply one of life’s unbeatable adventures.

DAY 5 & 6: LOWER ZAMBEZI NATIONAL PARK

Located on the Zimbabwean border in the southern reaches of Zambia, the Lower Zambezi region is best known as the home to the Lower Zambezi National Park which features exceptional, undeveloped wildlife areas. It is renowned for its abundant game - hippos, buffalo, crocodiles, fish eagles, and herds of elephants can be spotted, among other species. The landscape is characterized by rugged, unspoiled wilderness of vast floodplains, scattered with indigenous woodlands.

Visitors can look forward to an array of wonderful activities along the Zambezi including game drives, walking safaris, canoe trips, and excellent tiger fishing.

DAY 7: VICTORIA FALLS

After breakfast, the driver will come to collect you from your accommodation to take you to Jeki Airstrip where you will take your scheduled charter flight to Livingstone Airport. Upon arrival your driver will pick you up and take you to your accommodation.

After a refreshing sundowner drink while watching an exquisite African sunset, spend your evening sharing stories of your safari around the fire from within the comfort of the sunken boma before enjoying our African inspired fine-dining experience.

DAY 8 & 9: VICTORIA FALLS

Spend your last 2 days exploring one of the Old 7 World Wonders of Nature. Situated along the southern border of Zambia, Victoria Falls is a spectacular sight of awe-inspiring beauty and grandeur on the Zambezi River. It forms the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe and stretches across almost two kilometers into a gorge over one hundred meters below - making it one of the world’s widest waterfalls. Dubbed ‘The Smoke that Thunders’ by locals, this UNESCO World Heritage Site is a popular tourist destination for those visiting Zambia. It is world-renowned for its sheer beauty and offers visitors the opportunity to immerse themselves in spectacular landscapes inhabited by abundant wildlife.

We offer daily excursions to the Zambian side (and Zimbabwean side – in the dry season) side of The Victoria Falls, private river cruises, cultural visits, fishing expeditions, canoeing, rhino tracking and game drives, all included in your stay. Additionally, we can book external activities such as guided rainforest walks, bungee jumping and helicopter rides on your behalf.

DAY 10: LIVINGSTONE

Today we conclude our Zambian adventure. After your breakfast the driver will take you to the Livingstone International Airport where you will take an outbound flight to your home country or to your next destination.
